Good People,
We need to re-focus ourselves and carefully id our enemy! The enemy of Uganda is not Banyankole; I repeat the enemy is widely scattered in all our ethinic groups. 1. lawrence mukasa, l don’t intend to duspute your list, but l wonder how you leave out Haji Moses Kigongo, and you put there his “wolole” Cranmer Kalinda. One of the reasons for Obote l and ll falls was the creation of an inner and an outer cabinet. The inner ones were flattering the big man while the outerone was outscheming with the opposition even within the military. l think we have learnt something from them. The other problem was for Amin, relying so much on Sudanese, Congolese and Kenyan Nubians. Congolese were Isac Maliyamungu. Sudanese were Hussein Malera. Kenyan Nubians were Faruq Minawa and Ali Toweli. They could not fight in the defence of the country. Those who fought were Ugandans like Benard Rwehururu and Kasirye Gwanga, whom even Amin did not know personally. No wonder the Kakwa enginnered a coup led by Charles Arube and Col.Elli in anticipating what happened to them after 1979.
Therefore to me, powerful people should include the Vice President, The Speaker, The Chief Justice, the Deputy Speaker, the Deputy Chief Justice and \THE pRIME mINISTERS BECAUSE THOSE ARE CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICES. Then in the Movement, all Vece chairpersons, Secreart General and all members of NEC.
Then head of constitutional and statutaory security egencies like UPDF, UPC, UPS and others.
Otherwise, if this list is not a propaganda capaign, may demoralise some as it motivates others.

  2. mukasa…your not even ashamed to say u love uganda at the end of your foolishly organised list.when such inform lands on wrong ears there will b a genocide will u still love uganda?

  3. My dear brothers, all is about the strong and the weak.

you can refer to the theory of natural selection.

    wont explain more.

    clear?

i am impartial in my judgement

  4. Buganda has benefited more from Museveni’s rule than his own home district Kiruhuura which has no tarmac road or electricity. Most Banyankole have what they have out of their own sweat. Museveni is not known for dishing out money not even to his parents. The list is mostly Museveni’s immediate family members. Should one disown his own family because one is the president of a nation? To be fair, politics apart, Uganda has developed fastest during the last 24 years mainly because of the prevailing peace .Do you remember the self imposed curfew of 4pm in the early 1980s? Investing in peace is a lot better than in tribal hatred. Who is not corrupt in Uganda that should replace Museveni? Where will he pick his cabinet? Another president will not add more bananas on our plate. It is our own effort under a peaceful environment. Buganda has a duty to sell this to its people. That is when the kingdom of Buganda will prosper as each muganda produces more and becomes richer. That is ekitibwa kya Buganda with or without Museveni.

  5. dear country men,
lets leave all unneccessary, meaningless, tribalistic and childish reasoning and mind about working for our own developing from our own sweat, otherwise you[baganda pple ] who complain about tribalism will realise the fairness and justness of museven’s era when u get a different president.I don’t even see any muganda who can smoothen government programs bether than M7.

  6. the problem here is M7 thinking that he is the only person fit to lead our country, please M7 dont be so naive to think that Uganda can’t go on with you . Stop playing God in our lives, put it in your brain before you start thinking of changing the constitution for a 5th term. its not the tribes or the people its the selfishness of one man dividing us all, making us believe that Uganda is or a certain group of people. I for one wont mind which political roup will lead this country as long as they will make us feel like brothers and sisters. Iam not a movementist but will be the first to vote for Peter Ssematimba for Kampala mayorship for a better Kampala, a better Uganda.
Countrymen dont give up on praying , one we shall witness democracy in this country. One day shall be one day

  7. Uganda is a disgrace. So is african as a whole. We live once. If you have had the opportunity to live in the free world and experienced the freedoms people enjoy and how they spend their time being innovative and saving for their retirement and vacations, it makes you wonder who is to blame for the poverty and backwardness in your own country of origin? Ugandans, my dear Ugandans, just like we have Kabaka of Buganda, can we crown Museveni as King of Uganda so we can elect a prime minister every after 4 or 5 years? Ruling a nation of educated, literate individuals for over 24 years is humiliating. I say my fellow Ugandans, wake up, some of us have decided we will never return to this crap. What a waste!!

  8. dear Ugandans, for sure, tribalism has nothing to add on our plates. I very sure down there in ANkole, there are people who are dying of hunger yet there are so many other Non Banyankole who have benefitted much from Museveni’s rule.
Put this aside and embark on developing your country, otherwise this may prevail for years and years without any benefit to countrymen. Am very sure the person who develops this list if put in power amy develop only Baganda’s if he/she is a muganda, what about other more than 50 tribes? don’t they deserve the National CAke? this is stupid to embark on. Please be mature and style up.

  9. please all regions have benefited stop being tribalistic how come buganda has a king while ankole doesnt former vp bukenya speaker sekandi pm nsibambi more of the tarmac in buganda not even in the presidents village
