Dear friends of Buganda and well wishers:
On behalf of Kasubi Royal Tombs Restoration Fund (KRTRF) that organized Deputy Katikkiro Emmanuel Ssendaula ‘s visit to Los Angeles, I send greetings to you and your families as we approach the weekend.
Now that the Deputy Katikkiro of Buganda has departed Los Angeles and arrived in Dallas, after a one-week tour of Los Angeles, I must say that I was humbled by the reception and hospitality accorded to the Deputy Premier during his stay in the city of Angeles.
I must thank the entire organizing committee that worked tiressley to ensure a very successful visit by the Katikkiro. To this I must single out a few individuals that far exceeded the call for duty during the visit; Mrs. Rose Musoke, Mr. Fredrick Mwanje, Ms. Prossy Musoke, and Mr. Hudson Joloba. I also thank the Mulindwa family for their cooperation during the entire visit.
Special thanks to the Dignitary Protection Unit of Department of Homeland Security for the protocol and reception accorded to the Buganda Premier. Our appreciation to leadership and membership of St. Mark Episcopal Church for the hospitality and for giving us the hall for the function. We thank Pastor Robert Kayongo of the Revival Ministry for welcoming the Premier. To those who attended the evening function on Sunday at Omugave Ndugwe’s place, thank you.
We acknowledge the overwhelming support from the Acholi Community of North America for their strong presence and financial contribution to the restoration of the Kasubi Royal Tombs on Saturday, you challenged us! To the Busoga community, thank you for the support. The Abataka who spent Saturday morning and afternoon with the Katikkiro thank you for the time. Finally, we want to appreciate Bazukulu ba Buganda who came and those who sent messages for the total support and loyalty to Buganda and Ssaabasajja Kabaka.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Katikkiro came purposely to help raise the issue of rebuilding Kasubi Royal Tombs. We ask those who pledged money to come through with your pledges because we need your financial support to rebuild the Kasubi Tombs. A total of 10 billion Uganda shillings (US $5million) is needed, but so far only 425 million shillings (US $200,000).
Mission for Buganda; as we have done in the last four months since my appointment we continue our mission to sensitize and mobilize Baganda and friends of Buganda especially on the issue of Kasubi Tombs. To this I will be going to Denver, Colorado tomorrow Saturday, 28 August 2010 where I will continue to articulate Buganda’s issues. Thereafter, I will head to Newark in New Jersey (3 Sept 3, 2010) for the Ttabamiruka Conference where we will continue to address Buganda’s urgent needs. After Newark I will proceed to Boston, Massachusetts, and thereafter, I will proceed to Phoenix in Arizona (Sept 7, 2010). From Arizona, I will go Dallas, Texas where I intend to meet with friends of Buganda Sunday, 12 September 2010. Plans are under way to go to UTAH, Washington DC and Florida. More information will be coming in the due course.
I want to thank and acknowledge  Ssaabasajja Kabaka’s representative in the United States and Canada for their cooperation and understanding during this visit and the support, given to me since I was appointed the Buganda Special Mobilizer in the U.S for Kasubi Royal Tombs.
In conclusion, ladies and gentlemen, I must say that you have proved beyond doubts that community service is indeed a must. The show of support, encouragement and advice is beyond words of expression. As we say, “Ekitiibwa kya Buganda kyaava dda nafe tukikuumenga”
To those going to the many different conferences and conventions i.e  in Boston (UADA), Washington DC (UNAA and UDII), and our own Buganda conference the Ttabamiruka in Newark, New Jersey I wish you all a safe journey to the convention and back to your homes. We love you all and thank you for supporting the restoration of the Kasubi Royal Tombs and the Buganda Kingdom.
Awangaale Ssaabasajja Kabaka.
