Shouldn’t people like Nsibambi be spared since they have never said anything bad against Buganda? What can Buganda do to make sure that most of these people don’t come abck as members of parliament? What is the best way to get candidates that can fight for Buganda’s interests in elections?

Over to you!

  1. Some people may be fighting for the same cause but are using differnet channels. They may see themselves as “heroes” while we see them as traitors!

  2. Nsibambi also deserves to be on this list of traitors on account of the fact that he, as the country’s prime mister, and as a former ardent advocate of the federal form of governance which the overwhelming majority (i.e. 97%) of his fellow Baganda cherish and continue to support, has deliberately and/or miserably failed to advise his government to implement it. On many occasions, he’s out to ambigiously support the regional tier system which is covertly aimed at abolishing the Kabakaship. He’s also severally made disparaging remarks against Mengo, infact at one time, provoking the Mengo youth to reimburse his monies he’d donated to Mengo.

  3. Abaffe who ever doesnt know the history of this Buganda dares to point a finger at others – just forget this kingdom was good when some guys wanted to eat from the \Kabaka wait now that they have nothing they are running away to active politics look at semogerere, kalyaamaggwwa, nambooze and many others….dont fool your self that you love Kabaka nad buganda more than others

  4. Meme, I do not get the sense of your logic I am afraid. The kind of argument you are making is no different from the one Museveni keeps on making about Mengo in particular and the Baganda in general. He tells all and sundry that it’s him alone who restored the Kabakaship, as if he’d fought in Ankole or Rwanda or wherver and then returned to handle over the Kabakaship to Mengo/Baganda! What an insult!! Anyway, the gullible ones can swallow that garbage with hook and sinker but the Baganda who lost their lives and property supporting someone foreign to their lands and cultures believing him of what he was telling them as being the cause of that Bush War. So when you come out to say those who have destroyed the lives and property of Baganda and Buganda to the extent of even trying to erase Buganda from the face of Uganda, a tall order indeed, love Buganda and Baganda so much, I shudder but quickly forgive you on account of the fact that you may happen to be an accompalice in this vile scheme. Good thing though is that Baganda know pretty well who their friends are and also who their enemies are. We do not to belabour this much about this anyway!
